Three of my Faves

Fact: I am a compulsive online shopper.

So i thought I may as well say my neurosis with the world in a form of a weekly segment.

“I Loves It” (whilst may not always be grammatically correct) will showcase a few of my favourite pieces, online.

This week I am lusting over:

1. Evil Twin Outcast Reversible Gillet @ Market HQ – This gillet has soft suede on one side and faux fur on the other. The two fabrics contrast beautifully and the hood gives it a cool edge. This item is definitely on the top of my need it now list.

2. UNIF Leo Zip Pants @ Nasty Gal - I am a sucker for anything leopard. These skinny jeans have a faux suede finish and I love the zipper pocket detail on the front. Quintessential bad ass  rocker style.

3. MINKPINK Aspen Jacket @ Market HQ - I love this Missoni inspired faux shearling jacket…and its only $79!

Hipster Pimp

What better way is there to spend a Thursday night than playing dress ups with your flatmate. I stumbled across this alleyway of clutter street art just before Christmas on my way to work. I have been itching to take some snaps there ever since.

My inspiration for this shoot was the decadent style of the 60′s Mods who revealed in rebellion, worship the new wave of rock n roll and had the best clothes.

I love how easy this look was to put together and what a statement it makes. My flatmate has dubbed it “Hipster Pimp!”

Teal Trilby from Topshop.com, Teal Faux Fur Coat from Topshop.com, Vintage Scarf (from my mother), Black Shorts from Sass & Bide, Gold Heel Boots from Shakuhachi.

Hope you like it x
